The Club Penguin team recently discovered some major bugs with the new features that will take a couple days to fix. So the new plan is to have the features ready to launch by early next week.

I’m not complaining (never have) on these delays. I’d rather have new features that are more fun and work (and it take a little longer) than horribly, bad features that don’t even work right (or work at all).
